General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (CGV) govern the terms and conditions of wine sales between professional sellers and professional buyers through the Cavelink platform. Cavelink acts as an intermediary connecting private wine collectors with upscale restaurants and wine bars.
Registration and Account
Access to the platform requires creating a professional account. Buyers must provide a valid SIRET number and be approved by our team before being able to place orders. Sellers undergo a verification process before their wines can be listed.
Commission and Pricing
Cavelink charges a commission on each sale, deducted from the sale price. The rate depends on the channel: 15% for consignment and 13% for direct sale, though custom rates may be agreed upon individually. Wine prices are set following a professional estimation by our sommelier team.
Orders and Payment
Orders placed on the platform are binding. Payment terms are as specified at checkout. All prices are listed in EUR excluding taxes. Each order is assigned a unique order number for tracking purposes.
Delivery
Delivery is carried out by professional carriers specialized in wine transport. Shipping is free for orders over 200 EUR. Standard shipping costs 12.90 EUR. Delivery times vary based on the carrier selected. Tracking information is provided once the order is shipped.
Returns and Disputes
Returns may be initiated for damaged or incorrect products. Return requests must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery. The return process is managed by Cavelink administration. Refunds are processed once returned items have been verified.
Liability
Cavelink ensures the quality of wine estimations through professional sommeliers. However, Cavelink is not liable for the inherent evolution of wine quality. The platform guarantees the authenticity of all listed products to the best of its professional assessment.
Applicable Law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute arising from the use of the platform shall be submitted to the competent courts of the publisher's registered office location.
